One of our often ‘hidden’ talents is the ability to recreate almost any crest, badge or logo into something rather special for the front of a book…

We were recently tasked by the wonderful Margaret Joachim with recreating her family crest into gold foil for the front of her book.

Working from a low-res original, our creative team quickly produced a version that would reproduce perfectly on a classic cloth hardback. The step by step is shown opposite.

The finished result was a beautiful bespoke book, with the crest proudly shining out in luxurious gold foil. A truly unique and timeless memento for generations to come.

It was our pleasure to be a small part of the Joachim story.
