We are asked to bind many sizes of books and although there are standard sizes you are not limited in your choice.

We print on to flat sheets on any paper, but there are publishing standards as follows:

Note that the first measurement is the height of the spine.

Sizes up to Royal are your most economical choice of size.

We can print and bind landscape with a maximum size book of 630mm x 360mm.

PAPER

Paper comes in so many formats that your choices of colours, weights and grains is huge.

The subject matter of your book sometimes makes your choice easy because you will see something you want in a bookshop and we can get this for you.

At all stages we can advise and different stocks can be used within a book, eg a plates section for photos.

Standard book weights vary from 90gsm to 120gsm,
